Condition & Repair

Mining hardware wears while it earns. Learn every condition, active-mining lifespan, repair rule, and which items can be burned for SP.

Mint becomes Clean on its first earning tick

Mint means unused hardware. Clean still produces 100% output; it simply shows that active mining life has started. Only Mint can be traded or burned for SP — Clean is not burnable.

Burning for SP is Mint-only

Spare Mint hardware and other tradable spares (including unassigned pack drops) can be burned for Store Points. Clean is not burnable. Dusty and Hot are not burnable either — repair them to Mint first. Fried parts go to the Recycle Bin instead of burn.

When wear advances

  • Wear advances only while the rig is operational and earning.
  • Wear pauses when a rig is missing a required working part or otherwise not earning. Closing the game does not pause an operational rig.
  • Rig Builder shows mining time to the next condition, not ordinary calendar time.
  • Consumables, skins, packs, vouchers, and tickets do not degrade.

Active-mining lifespan

These are active mining days from first use until Fried. Higher rarity generally lasts longer.

Repairing hardware

Clean, Dusty, and Hot hardware can be repaired with $RR. The fee is based on estimated mining earnings since the last repair (not marketplace listing price), so repairs stay worthwhile vs what the part can earn. Accumulated wear resets to zero and the item returns to Mint.

Fried is permanent

Fried hardware has 0% output and cannot be repaired. It must be discarded or recycled.

Where repair $RR goes

Every repair fee is split 50/50: 50% to the permanent burn wallet and 50% to the platform wallet.

Mounting, inventory, trading, and burning

  • Mint, Clean, Dusty, and Hot copies can be mounted. Fried copies cannot.
  • One available condition mounts immediately; several conditions let you choose on the item card.
  • Unmounting and remounting preserves exact accrued mining time and never lowers the repair price.
  • Auto Build prefers Mint, then Clean, Dusty, and Hot.
  • Marketplace listings, Arena offers, free transfers, Upgrade Vault inputs, and burning for SP all require Mint condition. Clean, Dusty, and Hot cannot be burned or traded.
  • Only spare Mint copies burn for SP. Mounted parts stay on your rigs. Repair Clean, Dusty, or Hot back to Mint first if you want burn SP.
  • Unassigned pack drops can be burned from the Store for SP.
  • Room ACs cannot be burned. Untradable or starter items yield 0 SP if burned. Fried hardware uses the Recycle Bin — it is not burnable.

When a part fries

A Fried required part counts as an empty slot and can stop the whole rig from earning. It stays visible until cleared through the Fried-item flow.

Fried hardware cannot be burned. Move it into the Recycle Bin; once the bin has at least 10 items, recycle the batch for SP.
